Few words about Bordeaux and its region...

 With more than five hundred historical monuments, Bordeaux is witnessing two thousand years of history.

The quays of the « moon harbour », drawn by the river Garonne in Bordeaux, constitute the largest urban complex in the world to be classified as UNESCO World Heritage.  

Bordeaux and the region Nouvelle Aquitaine enjoy the mild climate of south-western France.

The city is surrounded by the famous vineyards of Sauternes, Médoc, Pomerol and the UNESCO-classified vineyard and village of Saint-Emilion.

At one hour drive from Bordeaux the beautiful white sand beaches stretch along the silver coast of the Atlantic Ocean, with wonderful places such as the Arcachon basin, the dune of Pilat also reachable by train.
